The print is made using the Giclée method. A Giclée Print is a digitally produced image on heavy weight art paper that has been produced on a computer driven ink-jet printer, providing greater intensity and purity of colour than all other methods of printing.
Many of the maps we use are Old Series Maps created in the 19th Century so please be aware that not all locations or names feature on all maps as they may not have been built when the map was drawn. To avoid disappointment it is best to specify an area alongside a specific postcode when placing your order. Please also be aware that the maps we use are reproductions of antique maps that can be aged or unclear in some areas, though the majority of maps are in excellent condition.
Please note that the street maps of London differ from the ordnance survey maps we use outside London. All areas inside the M25 are covered by our coloured London street maps. All other areas outside the M25 are covered by ordnance survey maps. All international maps are taken from antique atlases and are not as specific or zoomed in as our UK maps. Sometimes place names or counties may have changed since the map was drawn. It’s best to request a proof of the map before placing your order to avoid disappointment.
Copyright of the ordnance survey maps is by Cassini Publishing and the seller has full permission to use them for these products.
We have black or white painted wooden frames as well as natural brown wood available; please specify the frame colour when ordering your print.
